I am facing a major limitation while using templates in Store.link, and it significantly affects the user interface and overall attractiveness of my e-commerce website.
When I use the Multipurpose Template, I am able to:
- Add multiple sections to the website
- Create a visually rich layout with banners, content blocks, and structured sections
- Design an attractive homepage that improves customer experience and engagement
However, when I switch to the Quick Order Template, the flexibility completely disappears:
- I am not able to add any additional sections
- The website layout becomes extremely rigid
- Customization options are limited to just the product/order view
- There is no way to enhance the homepage UI or guide users visually
This creates a trade-off where:
- Multipurpose Template → Great design & UI, but not optimized for quick ordering
- Quick Order Template → Optimized for ordering speed, but no control over website structure or design
For businesses like grocery or local e-commerce stores, this is a serious limitation. We need:
- Fast ordering and
- A visually appealing, trust-building homepage
Currently, choosing the Quick Order Template forces us to sacrifice UI and branding entirely, even though the platform already supports sections in other templates.
It would be extremely beneficial if Store.link allowed:
- Basic section support even in the Quick Order Template, or
- A hybrid option that combines quick ordering + customizable sections
This change would massively improve usability and conversion potential for businesses using Store.link.
