Suggestion for an official shortener for the page

I’m not sure if this post is on this topic but my suggestion is for an official shortener for the page

The reason for an official link shortener for the page is that by having a non-common domain, when scanning the QR of the page it only gives the option to “COPY” instead of “GO TO WEB”. I have already tried it with several apps giving the same result.

Actually this problem is solved by using any existing shortener, only that when scanning it shows the link of the shortener and it would be good if it showed an official shortener something like “https://store.link-CODE”,

Obviously when scanning the QR of the page it does give the option to “GO TO WEB”

I have tried creating a QR code for demo.store.link and scanning it from iPhone and Android devices. It is working fine.

Did you choose URL type instead of text while creating the QR code?

See if you can scan the below QR

I scanned the QR and it still only gives me the “Copy” option.
I don’t know if it’s because of the type of cell phone or maybe the region, because I’ve tried several apps and they give the same result.

It’s not that I know of anything urgent, since I usually use link shorteners and/or link list management pages to create QR codes.

I was unaware it is not resolving to URL in some QR scanner apps.

I have tried it on iPhone and some Android devices’ official camera apps, and it properly opens the website instead of showing text.

Can you check if other domains, like .com QR codes, are opening in the browser with the same app?
