I’ve been trying to use a feature called <tag>. It wasn’t originally available in my current theme, but I managed to get it working, and overall, it functions well. However, I’ve run into one issue: when someone searches for a tag (e.g., “best seller”) using the search bar, the products with that tag don’t appear. Instead, the search results say “No results found.”
Is it possible to enable a feature where if someone searches for a tag like “best seller,” all products associated with that tag will automatically show up in the search results?
I’ve already enabled tags under - Manage your product content and settings, but it’s still not working. Could it be that the feature exists, but I’ve misconfigured something on my end?
Tag is not a searchable property in Store.link. They are only used for display purposes on a product listing.
I understand that you are trying to optimize the store to showcase your bestsellers and make them easily discoverable. We are currently, actively working on some design changes where you will be able to add custom categories such as bestsellers right on the homepage. Perhaps that might solve the issue for you rather than making tags being searchable.
Thank you for the update; it’s great to hear that you’re considering adding features like custom homepage categories. That sounds like a very useful enhancement and could indeed help us better showcase our bestsellers.
Would it be possible for you to share a tentative timeline for when these features might be available? The reason I ask is that as you’re actively updating features for Store.link, our technical team is also exploring creative solutions on our end to enhance our store and experiment with new ways to engage our customers. Having a rough idea of your release schedule would help us plan better and align our internal efforts accordingly.
Appreciate your continued support and looking forward to seeing the new updates roll out!
Great to hear that, thank you so much for the update, Aslam. We really appreciate all the effort your team has put into getting things to this stage. Looking forward to the final release — it’s been a pleasure working with you!
