Category Navigation UX Issues (Sticky + Slider Jump)
I’m facing two UX issues in Store.link category navigation on websites using the same theme and service provider.
Inconsistent sticky behaviour
- Text-based categories stay sticky while scrolling
- Image-based categories scroll away
- This creates inconsistency and poor UX, especially on mobile
(Sticky behaviour should be consistent across all category layouts)
Category bar jumping on selection
- When selecting a category, the category bar auto-jumps 3–4 slides
- This pushes the selected category out of view
- Customers usually browse categories slowly, so this feels confusing and unstable
Expected behaviour
- Consistent sticky category navigation for all layouts
- Selecting a category should not cause sudden horizontal jumps
These issues significantly affect grocery / hyperlocal store UX and conversions.
Requesting the team to review and fix this at the layout / CSS / slider logic level.
